- VidEraser vs HitPaw Watermark Remover
HitPaw offers Windows and Mac apps with a perpetual option, plus an online tool. VidEraser runs on the web, iOS and Android with one account and one-time minute packs.
- VidEraser vs Media.io
Media.io is a browser-based editing suite with monthly plans; its free tier exports with a watermark at 720p. VidEraser focuses on clean removal at the original resolution.
- VidEraser vs Apowersoft Watermark Remover
Apowersoft has a Windows desktop remover and online tools that handle large video files. VidEraser adds frame-by-frame tracking of moving watermarks and native mobile apps.
What VidEraser does and does not do
- Video: removes watermarks (including moving ones), burned-in subtitles, captions, timestamps and logos, and rebuilds the background instead of blurring it.
- Photos: removes watermarks, text and date stamps, plus objects and passers-by. Object removal is for photos only.
- Exports keep the original resolution. Videos can be up to 1 GB and up to 1080p.
- Billing: one-time minute packs on the web. Smart Erase, the default video mode, usually uses 2× minutes, and clips under a minute count as one minute.
- Sign-in is required. Web, iOS and Android share one account and one credit balance.
- Use it only on content you own or are authorized to edit.
