Privacy Policy
This policy is issued by VidEraser and its operator (“we”). It explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal information when you use the VidEraser website (videraserapp.com) and web processing under the same account, and the rights you may have. VidEraser provides AI tools to erase watermarks, subtitles, text, and logos from video and photos. Web, iOS, and Android can share one account and credits.
Please read this policy before use. Continued use means you are aware of it. Where the law requires a separate consent, we will prompt you in the relevant feature.
1. Contact
The service is provided by VidEraser and its operator. For questions, complaints, or to exercise rights under this policy, email szsoftwell2026@gmail.com. After sign-in you may also use Feedback on the web or in the app. We will reply within the time required by law.
The email above is our only public contact method. We do not provide a postal address, landline, or other offline address.
2. Information we collect
We follow legality, legitimacy, necessity, and good faith, and collect only what is needed to provide the service:
- Device and browser information: device or browser type, OS and web version, language; a de-identified device id for security and API signing. We do not use it as an advertising id or for cross-site ads.
- Account information: if you sign in, we may collect our user id and identifiers you authorize via Google or Apple (such as account id, name, or email, limited to what you grant).
- Content you upload or import: videos, photos, processing parameters, or video links you confirm you may use, sent to our servers and/or processing partners. Upload only content you have the right to process.
- Transaction information: one-time web purchases may be processed by a payment provider (including Waffo). We may receive order ids, payment status, and limited data needed to grant credits. Full card or wallet details stay with the payment channel. App Store or Google Play purchases are processed by those stores; we receive only what is needed to verify and grant entitlements.
- Local storage: sign-in state, consent, and task progress may be stored in cookies or local storage for session and security.
- Usage and logs: job status, credit use, and diagnostic logs for service, billing, and support.
- This site uses Google Analytics to measure visits. It is not used for ads. You can turn it off in your browser settings or with the opt-out tool Google provides.
- Feedback: text you submit and any optional contact you include.
We do not sell personal information. The website does not show third-party ads and does not use your data for cross-site ad tracking. We do not collect precise location unless a future feature requires it and we obtain required notice and consent. This policy does not list product prices; prices, plans, and promotions are those shown on the public pricing page, in the app, and at checkout.
3. Purposes of processing
- To provide, maintain, and improve erase, records, credits, and paid features;
- Sign-in, security, and account deletion;
- Verifying web payments or store purchases and granting entitlements;
- Legal duties, disputes, fraud and abuse prevention;
- De-identified or aggregated statistics.
4. Retention and media rules
- Source media uploaded or imported for an erase job is used only to complete that job and is deleted as soon as practicable afterwards.
- Results are usually kept about 7 days so you can view, export, or re-erase in History, then deleted or anonymized (unless a longer period is required by law, such as transaction records).
- We do not use your source media or results to train our AI models, build ad profiles, sell datasets, or run content analysis unrelated to delivering that job.
- After you delete your account, we delete or anonymize account personal information except where the law requires otherwise.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We provide necessary data only in these cases:
- Processors: cloud storage and AI processing vendors, under contract and within the authorized scope;
- Sign-in and payment partners: Google, Apple, and web payment providers (including Waffo), only for login, checkout, and entitlements;
- Legal requests from courts or regulators.
We do not publicly disclose your personal information unless you agree or the law requires it.
6. Storage location and cross-border transfer
Primary infrastructure is in the People’s Republic of China. If you use the site from outside mainland China, your personal information (including uploads and account data) is transferred to and processed in mainland China, limited to the purposes in this policy. Source files are used only for your erase request and deleted as in section 4; results are kept only briefly for download or re-erase. Email us if you need more about transfers that apply to you.
7. Web features and local permissions
The web app runs in your browser. File, camera, or photo access is granted in the system or browser prompt; turning it off may disable that feature. We use cookies and local storage for sign-in and security. You can clear them in the browser, which may require signing in again.
8. Your rights
Under applicable law (including China’s PIPL and, where they apply, GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, copy, correct, delete, port, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, and complain. California residents: we do not “sell” personal information and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in CPRA. Account deletion: you can request it in web account settings or in the app. Closing the browser or uninstalling the app does not delete the account.
9. Children
The service is intended for adults. Children under 14 (or a higher age where your law requires it) should read this policy with a guardian and use the service only with guardian consent. If we learn we collected a child’s information without valid consent, we will delete it promptly.
10. Security and updates
We use HTTPS, access control, and request signing, but no system is perfectly secure. We may update this policy. Material changes to purposes, methods, or types of personal information will be announced on the site, and we will obtain a new consent when the law requires it.
11. Governing law
Without limiting mandatory consumer or privacy protections where you live, this policy is interpreted under the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules). This document is for information and is not legal advice.

Prices, plans, currency, and promotions are those shown on the public pricing page, in the app, and at checkout. The website currently offers four one-time video minute packs (30, 60, 120, and 200 minutes) and image packs (30 and 100 credits). This policy does not list amounts.
How long are results kept?
Results are usually kept about 7 days. Source files for that job are deleted as soon as practicable after processing.
